2. Data processing when visiting the website
On every request, technically necessary data (IP address, date/time, page requested, browser type) is stored in server log files. This data is deleted automatically after 14 days. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in stable operation).
3. Cookies
We use exclusively technically necessary cookies (language preference and the cookie consent itself). Statistics cookies are set only after your explicit consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time — see the cookie banner below.
4. Contact requests via the inquiry widget
Inquiries sent via our inquiry widget (name, email, message) are processed solely to handle your request. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (initiation of a contract). The data is processed on Bitblade Group infrastructure within the EU and, after the inquiry has been handled, deleted in line with statutory retention periods.
5. External services
Google Fonts: We previously loaded the fonts Inter and Space Grotesk via Google Fonts. Both fonts are now hosted locally on our servers — no IP address is transmitted to Google. Both fonts are now hosted locally on this site (no third-party calls).
Inquiry Widget v2: Loaded from the Bitblade Group Customer Portal (api.customer.bitblade.io). Data is processed on our own infrastructure within the EU.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority — for us: the State Data Protection Commissioner of Baden-Württemberg.
7. Data security
We deploy technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against manipulation, loss and unauthorised access — in particular SSL/TLS encryption of the entire website.
Google Analytics 4 (only with consent)
If you choose “Allow all” in our cookie notice, we use Google Analytics 4 (provider: Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; parent company: Google LLC, USA). Without your consent, no Google script is loaded and no data is transmitted to Google (Google Consent Mode v2, default: denied). With consent, usage data (e.g. pages visited, device type, truncated IP address) is processed to analyse the use of our website. Data may be transferred to the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your cookies and choosing “Only necessary” on your next visit.

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy if the legal basis or our services change. The current version is always available at this URL.
