A Matterport tour is a walkable 3D model of your space that runs directly in the web browser — no app, no plugin, no login. Behind the scenes the Matterport Pro3 captures LiDAR data and high-resolution 134-megapixel panoramas at every position. The Matterport cloud then computes a consistent 3D model that can later be explored as a walk-through, as a dollhouse view, as a floor plan and through a measurement layer.
The key difference from a classic 360° tour: a Matterport tour is spatial. Visitors do not just jump between hotspots — they walk smoothly through the rooms, rotate the building like a model in the dollhouse view and take measurements directly inside the browser. These features are why the format has become the de-facto standard for real estate marketing, hospitality, food & beverage and industrial documentation.

Why a Matterport tour is the better 360° tour.
Classic 360° tour
A 360° tour is a series of photo panoramas linked by hotspots. It is comparatively cheap to produce, but purely visual: no real geometry, no measurements, no dollhouse view and no CAD-capable data. Change viewpoint and the picture jumps rather than flows.
Matterport tour
A Matterport tour has a LiDAR point cloud sitting underneath every image. From that come smooth walking, exact in-browser measurements, automatic floor plans, the dollhouse view and the Matterpak for CAD/BIM. You pay once — and end up with a marketing asset and a digital twin in the same product.

On-site scan
We scan with the Matterport Pro3 — silent, no power needed, on request outside business hours. Rule of thumb: one position every 2–3 metres.
Matterport cloud
Raw data goes into the Matterport cloud. We align north, set the starting point, label rooms and, on request, place tags.
Handover
You receive the web link, the iframe snippet, the floor plan PDF and — if ordered — the Matterpak via encrypted download.

What do I actually receive?
Standard delivery: web viewer link, iframe embed code for your website, labelled floor plan as PDF, dollhouse view, in-browser measurement tool and on request the Matterpak (E57 + OBJ + textures). On request we also place interactive tags with photos, videos, PDFs or external links directly inside the tour.
How fast is my Matterport tour live?
Usually within 24 hours of the scan appointment. For larger properties (over 1,000 m²) or for additional tags and floor plan labelling we plan 1–2 business days.

Our Compact package starts at €499 net and covers apartments, small practices or retail spaces up to roughly 150 m² — including travel within the Hochrhein/Lake Constance area, the scan itself, the web tour and hosting for the first year.
