Current Pro3 hardware
LiDAR-based, 134 MP HDR per setup, usable outdoors. Anyone still working with Pro2 (structured light) runs into limits fast in sunlight and beyond 10 m distance.
BIM and point cloud output
A real provider does not stop at the web tour but delivers E57, OBJ, XYZ, DWG, IFC and Revit on request. Ask for concrete sample deliverables from real projects.
NDA and GDPR concept
Industrial and research sites require NDA before the first walkthrough, device whitelisting and a documented record of processing activities. If a provider cannot show those on request, they are not industry-ready.
EU hosting of raw data
The web viewer runs on Matterport, but point clouds and raw data must sit GDPR-compliant in EU data centres. Self-hosting the viewer as ZIP should be an option.
Hybrid capture capability
Pro3 for 95% of the building, handheld for sub-mm detail, RTK drone for roofs and outdoor areas. A provider with only one device covers only part of the project.

A certified Matterport provider works with current Pro3 hardware, has a documented project process including NDA, and delivers not only the web viewer but on request also point cloud, E57, OBJ and BIM output. Studio photographers usually deliver only the marketing tour.
Do you cover all of Germany and DACH?
Yes. With offices in Lauchringen (DE) and Beringen (CH) we run projects across Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein. For larger sites and industrial facilities we plan multi-day deployments including logistics and safety induction.
Where are the scan data hosted?
The public web viewer runs on Matterport; raw data, point clouds and models stay in our EU pipeline (Germany/Switzerland). On request we deliver standalone viewers as ZIP for self-hosting on your own server.
Which output formats will we receive?
Standard: Matterport web viewer plus Matterpak bundle (E57, OBJ + textures, XYZ, B/W floor plan, reflected ceiling plan). On request additionally DWG, IFC and Revit models for BIM workflows.
What does your NDA and data protection workflow look like?
We work GDPR-compliant, sign NDAs before capture, anonymise personal content in the viewer and hand over raw data via encrypted transfer. For industrial and research sites we run an extended security concept including device whitelisting.
